I've been a casual Opera user, but I decided to try Opera as my main browser on my notebook running Linux. On occasion, it'll seem slow, like a page will take 15-20 second to load while it come right up in an alternate browser. Is there anything I can check when this happens? it doesn't happen a lot, but I'd like to fix it if possible.

Is there any way to get rid of tooltips, like when you mouse over something and a description pops up? There used to be a setting for this this, but I couldn't find anything in the latest version.

Lastly(for now), I'm using the bookmarks on the side bar. There's a setting in the options that it says makes it slim, but checking it still leaves on inch plus of space. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for any help.
