<![CDATA[Opera won't play Twitch streams]]>I have just installed Opera on Ubuntu 20.04 and I cannot watch Twitch streams, it just throws an error. While it plays YouTube videos just fine, but cannot play live strems also.

which only made me more confused.
But simply using Snap version solves it.

No worries, nothing to do with licensing, I think it's because everything to make the browser work is in the snap package, the .deb file uses other stuff from different sources on your system and that's where opera trips up

Or the .deb file? The snap package runs all the codecs for video playing perfectly on Linux (not widevine for Netflix though) if it was the .deb file you might run into problems
