Quitting and re-running, then quickly logging out allows it to operate fine but any attempts to then sign-in result in Opera failing to respond and the Macbook fans going into overdrive......

So for now it's toasted, this also occurred many months back after an update and I remained logged out for several months of updates before it reliably could sign-in and synchronise my devices.

Anybody else suffering from this most recent botch-up ?
