<p dir="auto">I have no folder:<br />
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera</p>
<p dir="auto">I couldn't find any widevind_config.json, so I made one, and tried to follow the guide made waay back on these forums, and read the comments and really, it's kinda messed for me right now.</p>
<p dir="auto">Does anyone have an updated guide?</p>
<p dir="auto">Running<br />
Xubuntu 20.04 and<br />
Opera 68.0.3618.125</p>
<p dir="auto">And I have Chrome, and DRM works there.<br />
Opera devs, please pay attention in class, and fix this once and for all!</p>

The snap-provided codecs must be built for the version of Chromium Opera uses just like with the non-snap version. At least, that's what the store installed for me. The other store was upgraded at some point to the "Snap Store".</p>
<p dir="auto">I haven't been testing that much, as you can see the folders are the same as before. But when I went to check for DRM, it said it had widevide, so I suppose it's fine.</p>
