<![CDATA[Opera beta 69 - news]]>The Opera 69.0.3686.2 enters beta stage ;-)
The change log, and the announcement.
 
It includes some improvements to the visibility of the X button, as well as few crash fixes and other enhancements.
 
New Opera's flags - disabled by default (work in progress):
#search-in-closed-tabs
Enable recently closed tab search in "Search in Tabs" feature.

#search-text-in-tabs
Enable text content search in "Search in Tabs" feature.

#sidebar-site-panel
Enables opening user-selected webpages in the browser Sidebar.

#workspaces-bookmark-context-menu
Allows to open bookmarks in inactive workspaces.

#workspaces-extended-menu
Displays and lets change active workspace in main menu window drop down on Mac.

#workspaces-sidebar-context-menu
Makes browser Sidebar mouse right-click context menu related to given sidebar icon.

#workspaces-sidebar-notification
Displays notification near sidebar's inactive workspace icon, when new tab is opened or moved into one.

#workspaces-dnd
Allows for tab drag & drop onto workspace icon in the browser's Sidebar.

Opera's flag #enhanced-address-bar - enabled by default in this build
Enable additional drop-down in the address bar.

Removed Opera's flags: #new-component-update-mechanism, #horizontal-tab-cycler, #notification-overlay-on-taskbar, #sidebar-setup-panel,
#tab-strip-views and video-pop-out-surface-layers. 
 
Chromium is updated to version 83.4103.14.

- DNA-86442 Selecting tabs by Shift does not work correctly.
- DNA-86745 Settings not scrolled to section, when navigating - JS error.
- DNA-87013 Geolocation permission dialog is shown on private mode, when enabled geolocation for Weather widget.
- DNA-86523 [Windows] Duplicated entries in O-Menu > Bookmarks.
- Several crash fixes - more info in the change log.

- DNA-86563 Assertion failure in sync_account, when the OAuth2 session is starting.
- DNA-86702 Crypto Wallet site settings are broken.
- DNA-86738 Inactive buttons in the settings.

For example in Opera on Windows when using FB or any other social media or different website, but doesn't happen on Mac and Linux at the same time.
Also it may reappear in a new Opera, when there's change in version of Chromium, that Opera is based on.

Therefore, it may be fixed for the specific case, and occur in the future again, and again.
Anyway, perhaps you can provide more details, specific steps to reproduce the case in which that issue appears for you, and also tell us what are your OS and Opera versions.

Everybody been recieving this Out of Memory messages when we are using Facebook. Its been occuring Since September 2019.... How many updates later, [Caps are not allowed] . Please make a patch to solve this Issue please.

We have been waiting patiently since September 2019, its already May 2020, an 8 mth long issue on somethig soooo simple as an OOM message crash ?
