And why do you think they do it?

If you have noticed, there is/were lots of language specific subforums missing when these forums were created. Some were readded according to user's demand and others are still missing maybe because of the lack of interesting.

You can request a french forum and if there is enough support then they may create it, but they will need some volunteer to moderate that forum and moderator powers are not something that can be given to anyone.

Dave, you don't get it. The point is that the French parted there long before MyOpera's cancellation. We had a topic in D&D "Where are the French?", if you don't remember. It might be that the fanatical jihadist French government simply blocked MyOpera there. Like Pakistan's blocked YouTube.
