I was attempting to put a bookmark into a file but instead of this happening the file vanished.
I looked in the trash file of the bookmarks but it was not there and has not been recently backed up. How do I recover this file?

When I was trying to put the page in a folder I got a box for a new folder so I closed it using the 'X' on the top right corner. When I again tried to put it in the bookmarks the folder I was going to use was gone from Bookmarks. I thought I had by mistake deleted it but when I checked in the trash folder within Bookmarks it was there. Being I can not find my lost folder, is there a way to recover it without using my backup file? I just set up this folder and had not done a backup.
