<![CDATA[[Solved]A while back, I un-docked the DevTools and now unable to dock it back.]]>When I try to dock the un-docked DevTools window on Mac Catalina, the Opera crashes and restarts and keeps the DevTools undocked.

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Preferences
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Preferences.backup

I didn't find that bug on Windows, but have another one:

  1. Undock DevTools
  2. Dock it back
  3. Click on 3 dots button.
  4. Opera crashes & reopens.

I updated Opera to the latest version (67.0.3575.137), but it didn't work.

I found these JSON files at: %appdata%\Opera Software\Opera Stable

I changed it as shown, but the problem continued.

Here's how to fix it:

1 – Close Opera
2 – Open both Preferences & Preferences.backup json files:

~/Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.Opera/Preferences
~/Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.Opera/Preferences.backup

3 – Update these settings & save

"currentDockState":"\"right\"",
"lastDockState":"\"right\"",
"dock":{"state":true}

4 – Open Opera
5 – Open DevTools
