<p dir="auto">I guess the place for the host manifest file should be (user level install):<br />
~/.config/opera-developer/NativeMessagingHosts/</p>
<p dir="auto">but that doesn't work:<br />
<code>Failed to connect: Specified native messaging host not found.</code></p>
<p dir="auto">It does work in Chrome and Chromium mutatis mutandi.</p>
<p dir="auto">The docs seem outdated:<br />
