Opera is just a web browser and is dependent on the underlying network performance for its functioning. Hence recommended OpenDNS to see if that helps.

I think it is Facebook that is slow, not Opera.
They're either tracking, do not have enough East European servers, or their backend struggles.
I keep my first landing page open and open new page for each person's I visit. Difficult to do, as soon as you touch Fb page link it wants to go there.

Sometimes i feel lag only for Facebook browsing. Not smoothing browsing. Sometimes back option don't work. My internet is ok... That's why I suggest this so that opera team work on this item.
