I think he was asking about blocking sites from reloading their pages periodically, like Twitter, and some online games do.

What you're experiencing sounds more like pages being discarded because of low memory and then being reloaded (probably the from cache, not the web).

Opera Mini doesn't have this feature but Opera has. If I go to another tab & come back to previous tab then that following webpage got automatically refreshed without asking me. And there has no way to opt-out from it.

And I don't think you can disable autorefresh.
