Then try to sign in to the account in Opera again, and see if this helps.

But your bookmarks, passwords etc are safe.
And you can find Fast access pages, bookmarks, history, passwords etc on your Opera account. Here : https://sync.opera.com/web/

I have been using this browser since 2008 and around 2015 every year I have the same problem several times a year.

💡 I found a tip to avoid the freeze withou losting the tabs and the sessions, just the Fast access pages on a new tab.💡

Go to your Windows Explorer and search :
C:\Users\THE NAME OF YOUR PC HERE\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable
And you delete the files "Preferences" and "Preferences.backup"
Et voilà!🎊
