Sorry for late reply.
The first post surprised me because mySkip doesn't work like that, it just searches for the skip / banner button and clicks it.
Glad you have checked it has nothing to do with the addon.

The reason behind this is that content creators still get monetization when you watch the video, because the ad pops up but it automatically disapears (except when it's the unskippeable one).
As it's OpenSource, you can take a look at the code.

When using this, there are no ads even those you can't skip. That's not the point of this type of application, so it's better to look for another add-on.
