but I cannot find any mention of plug-in or Chromium.<br />

You just click on a pdf and it'll open in Opera in a tab using the viewer.</p>
<p dir="auto">Goto the URL <code>opera://settings/content/pdfDocuments</code> though and make sure "Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Opera" is disabled.</p>
