<![CDATA[[Request]Double Click Tab closes Tab]]>I would like to be able to double click a tab to close it. All the other major browsers allow you to do that. If not, consider this a BIG request!

Alternatively, you can simply enable mouse gestures under opera:settings/shortcuts , hold down right mouse, and "Move down, then right" to close a tab.
There is also a keyboard shortcut to close the current tab - Ctrl+W (Windows/Linux) and ⌘+W on Mac, but you probably know that already. You can also change it to custom one.

Opera has an extension that let's you use Chrome extensions. It can be found here.

I installed a Chrome extension that closes a tab if you double click the page (not the tabs)

In actually Firefox can edit some abilities in "About:Config" to enable "Open Bookmark in new tab" and "DoubleClick to Close tab" without install any add-on like that you can google it

I started out with FireFox and they had a great extension that would allow you to double click a tab to close it. And that was MANY years ago.

With Vivaldi, it's built into the browser. You just check a box to allow the browser to do it.

I wonder why developer team were ignore these features or this will make some trouble for browser? I don't think so. I think this matter for user behavior

I just tried it though and it works. It's a bit awkward for me to use the wheel to click something and it will take time to get used to that. But I'm happy I found something that works.
