<pre><code>  The short cut would then be in the Opera icon. By right-clicking the pinned Opera icon the URL is listed. Is this what you meant Cyberrufus?

A URL was pasted in the box. The short-cut icon was dragged to the task bar but would not pin to the task bar - it would only "pin to Opera" (associating the short cut with the browser).</p>

There doesn't seem to be a way of pinning a site to the task bar. Also, right-clicking on a web page does not give an option of creating a short cut on the desktop.</p>

But Opera would have to be the browser set as default.</p>
<p dir="auto">PS. IE offers this feature natively.</p>
