Hello I installed recently OperaMail PortableApps version.

I can't figure it out how to install more dictionaries.

Following an advise in the forum I downloaded a diccionary *.oxt from OpenOffice and renamed the file to *.zip and moved it to the "dictionaries" folder in the profile folder what is in my case: C:\OperaMailPortable\App\OperaMail\profile\dictionaries\

By the way I had to create the folder "dictionaries" in my profile folder manualy
      But it still want work
      Kind regrads Martin

Hello The URL I downloaded the dictionary is:

            https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/spanish-espanol

But in any case I can not install it through the OperMail with add/remove dictionaries.

            Kind regards Martin

@multistore It's a Huspell dictionary? As far as I know, Opera Mail used Huspell compatible dictionaries.

Here is the path where I copied the dictionary:
                C:\OperaMailPortable\App\OperaMail\profile\dictionaries

Probalbly I copied it into the wrong plaze.

                Kind regards Martin

After you download the file, change from es_es.oxt to es_es.zip. Then, extract it so that its files are in an es_es folder. Then, copy the whole es_es folder to the "profile\dictionaries" so that you have "profile\dictionaries\es_es".

Then, when you start Opera, it'll already be installed and available as a dictionary choice.

                    @burnout426

                    The path was wrong, not:
                    C:\OperaMailPortable\App\OperaMail\profile\dictionaries

                    Here it has to be:
                    C:\OperaMailPortable\Data\profile\dictionaries

                    Kind regards Martin

I see. Must be something with the way Portable Apps wraps up Opera Mail. It deviates from the standard location. Glad you got it.
