<![CDATA[Opera Link - Won't work in Opera but will in another browser]]>Hi
Can anyone help.
Since the last update to Opera which now has no bookmarks menu, completely stupid, I'm having to use the web interface. This was working but now when I try and use it within Opera, I get this message 'Access to the Opera Link data has been denied (token private info removed for security)'.
I can log into Opera Link via Safari but not within Opera, how random!
Can anyone give me a clue how to cure the problem?
I can't beleve they would release an update which has basic functions missing like Bookmarks.

@sgunhouse the user is referring to https://link.opera.com which should be accessible from any browser.
I thought this "data denied ... token" stuff was a server-side problem... But you say it works in other browsers...
Have you tried closing the page and clearing the cookies to the beginning of time and try to access again?

It would have been nice if Opera had helped when I contacted them but at least the Forum's work.

Anyway ... my speed dial for Link works perfectly. Do note that I signed in here though, which is the same login site as link uses. If you have a different name here in the forums from your Link account, you would need to log out here before logging in to Link with the username and password used for that ... and as far as I recall, Link was case sensitive on the username.

Any version since 15 is based on Chromium and not the Presto engine used in 12 and earlier. That's why it has no bookmarks and doesn't connect to link itself. No idea on the web interface though - that should still work.
