OS: Windows 8 (spanish)

I try to install opera-mail-1-0-1033-es-win.exe

I get an error: la configuración en paralelo no ses correcta.

On the "Visor de enevtos" I get:
Error al generar el contexto de activación para "C:\Users\martin\Downloads\opera-mail-1-0-1033-es-win.exe". Error en el archivo de manifiesto o directiva "C:\Users\martin\Downloads\opera-mail-1-0-1033-es-win.exe" en la línea 0. Sintaxis XML no válida

Investigating I found some similare errors but this one not

I installed the VisualC++ 2005 Runtime Libraries, rebooted the PC but still I get the same error.

My guess is you don't have the correct Visual c++ runtime on your system that Opera needs. See the "3. Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++" at https://windowsreport.com/activation-context-generation-failed/.

Hi,

Latest is 1044.
Maybe is the reason for the problem.

You can try the Portable version from PortableApps if not and in the meantime a fix arrive.

(PortableApps is officialy allowed by Opera).
