  • Add the ability to change the color or theme of the main browser window. A dark theme visually reduces the workspace because most sites are light.

This would let you get most extensions that are for chrome to operate on opera. The second is called Dark Reader. It is hands down the best night mode extension that I have found. You need to turn on the setting to let the extension operate in the web search mode. the only places this doesn't work is in the sidebars or pages that block extensions (bank pages or similar secure pages)
