Facebook and MSN also affected. Everything on the coreyspowell twitter page plays fine for me. HTML5 test results are all good. H264 is yes. MSE EME say supported but the video doesn't play.

What does http://html5test.com/ say for h.264 and aac support? Does the video at https://bitmovin.com/demos/drm play? Under that video, what does it say for MSE and EME support?

Try in a standalone installation of Opera Developer so you can test with a fresh profile. Don't enable sync, don't enable vpn, don't enable adblocking and don't install any extensions.
