If I click the save button, the pdf is being downloaded as usual.</p>
<p dir="auto">Refresh the "Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Opera" option, restart opera, clear cache, but nothing changed.  Reset to default made Opera to open pdf using the embedded pdf viewer for 2 days and then the same symptom.</p>

Test in that Opera but don't enable Opera Sync, don't install any extensions, don't enable VPN and don't enable adblocking.</p>

Digging a little using the Developer mode, I found that there is an error. Opera is trying to load favicon.ico icon and the server returns error 401 (Unauthorized). Can this be disabled?<br />
In some other cases the favicon.ico is not found and the server returns the below error.</p>
