Can't find such a setting in Opera? Is there one and if not why not if this browser is Chrome oriented? No offence intended - just a puzzled newbie to the browser.

I also suggest that it could be something that Opera to adopt/copy - if updates are ever issued?.

As i said, in IE, if one clicks on the TOOLS button and then on Internet Options at the bottom of the page one gets to a new page where there is a Tabbed Browsing button., Tabbed browsing enables one to click on the box for second button down so that the browser will (quote) "switch to the new tabs when they are created". That means the new tab page is opened INSTANTLY that a right mouse click is done. All that Opera does is create a tab and nothing until one clicks on the new tab that is made. Got a better suggestion please?
