Force closing does not work.  Any suggestions?</p>

If so, then manually right-click each one in Task Manager to "End Task". That should kill the processes so you can at least uninstall.</p>

Cant even uninstall as it is "still running".</p>

If so,  force-close it via Task Manager and reopen Opera; then try disabling Opera's extensions to see if one of them is failing to close, as shown in Task Manager. If/when Opera's tasks are all closed as seen in Task Manager, then try running CCleaner to see what happens.</p>

Gives me the option of force closing it, but that takes hours (waiting for 1.5 hours to no avail)  Looks like Opera keeps running in the background.</p>
