Using it to read something back to me, and it can't pronouns the names. AT ALL. I'd use Speechify but the free version of that has a 100 minute a month use time. That's 1 hour and 40 minutes. Not great since I'm gonna start writing a lot more. Like a lot more. Also the voice labeled "Microsoft Mark" in US English, sounds like Kenitopet (iykyk). But tbh I'll prob start using Speechify instead when I find out how to download the extension.

Vous allez vous épuiser à faire du copier-coller pour avoir au final une lecture d'une voix forte et immonde que vous la mettiez aigu ou grave, vous pouvez également la rendre encore plus immonde grâce à l'option de vitesse et ainsi étendre votre souffrance.

Pour ceux qui l'utiliserons, je vous souhaite une agréable diarrhée auditive et un bon rétablissement de vos otites.

Installed this and one other text to voice extension on opera. Shortly afterwards saved passwords were stolen which i have only used on this browser and device.

So annoying, it makes even more complicated to follow the sense of any phrase. Had to uninstall it for now.

Not exactly the "one-click operation" it advertises. If this was the 90s it would be an innovation, but there are so many better options out there.

I've tried the Text to Speech (TTS) on Opera, and I must tell you that there is a lot of room for improvement. The speech is very halting and un-natural. It doesn't compare favorably to the Real Aloud text to speech extension available for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox browsers. Otherwise, I like the Opera browser.

برخی از ویژگی ها:

  1. آسان با یک کلیک متن به گفتار از طریق HTML5 API.
  2. تشخیص خودکار زبان (بدون نیاز به تنظیم زبان ورودی در هر زمان)
  3. متن به گفتار با نگه داشتن کلید Alt ، T یا Insert فعال می شود
    4- هنگام انتخاب متن به گفتار ، متن انتخاب شده را برجسته می کند.
  4. از API بومی HTML5 TTS استفاده می کند (نیازی به نصب افزونه های اضافی نیست).

"You need to activate the option "Allow access to search results" on the Opera extension option and then when you want to use it just highlight the text and speech bubble will come up (or use the hold "Alt" + select text)".
The extension is good but it should warn about this small problem.
