Checking with Firefox they are shown.<br />
I have tried identical fonts to those used by Firefox in Opera - however this changes nothing at all and i still cannot see these characters which are shown as blanks.</p>

<p dir="auto">On that other site, all of them are shown as regular characters. They are resented below in code tags so that the forum won't change them to images.</p>

While the forum is actually replacing the emoji with its own in the display, the first three suits should be symbols in the edit pane. Here is Windows they are shown in black and white, but show fine.</p>
<p dir="auto">Or try something like <a href="http://www.i2symbol.com/symbols/cards" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">this</a> ... again works fine in Windows.</p>

<p dir="auto">In my other chromium based browsers (brave and chrome), they are shown as images too, and the same happens on ff. Plus, they take quite some time to load, compared to the rest of the site which is plain text and loads in a split second.</p>
