MS Explorer works fine but when in opera there is no connection.</p>

<p dir="auto">go to Control Panel - Click Internet Options - click on Connection tab - click Lan settings button make sure all boxes are unchecked - except for this one - check mark box called - Automactically detect settings - then ok it..</p>
<p dir="auto">then open opera to see if it connects..</p>

You can try opening the Developer Toolbar (by default by pressing Ctrl-Shift-I) and checking the network tab. What does it show when you try to access, let's say, <a href="http://opera.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">opera.com</a>?</p>

Its happening on a couple of my laptops started yesterday (12/01).</p>

Check antivirus, firewall, router, those things.</p>
