<![CDATA[Express-page is too slow]]>This problems have been reproducible since 65 or 64 version.
So when I open new page(even express-panel or version-page) it takes almost 100% cpu(not sure if it's related) and takes a few seconds.

I've downloaded portable opera 65 and got the same problem even after I removed all links using start page settings.
It become a bit faster if hide search field and express-panel.

But it's really fast with Shared Start Page feature enabled only

I tried with 50 on the start page and it loads fine. News, suggestions and everything are shown on there too. Not sure it's so slow for you. I even tried in a private window. I even tried starting Opera in private mode. All still good.

There were some issues with the start page taking a while to load. But, I think those have been fixed.

Also, if you want, goto the URL opera://flags/#shared-start-page, turn that on and restart Opera. That will at least limit the slow loading to the first time the start page loads.

Also, do you have a lot of speed dials on the start page?
