I have since upgraded my macOS to 10.14.6. I am still running Opera 65.0.3467.62.

As I type this in one Opera tab, the adjacent one shows the SeekingAlpha favicon appearing for The New York Times.

I will chalk this one up to technology gremlins, as the problem went away on its own a day later, despite nothing changing in my environment.

I kept an eye on it for another day, just in case it reappeared. So far it has not.
