<![CDATA[Clear browsing data on exit]]>Hi,

Any chance we could get the option to clear browsing data on Exit?

Brave has this extra 'On exit' tab on its Clear browsing data dialog box where you can select which browsing data you'd like to clear on exit.

I'd love to have this feature in Opera, too.

Opera has introduced a similar "On exit" tab in Settings. You can delete browsing history, download history, cookies and other site data, cached images and files, passwords and other sign-in data, autofill form data, site settings, and hosted app data.

How to find?

  1. Go to Settings (Alt+P).
  2. Under Privacy and Security, select Delete browsing data and click the On exit section.
  3. Choose the data you want to have

This occurs both on my Samsung S10+ phone and Samsung Tab S3 tablet. The data is definitely erased, since it doesn't retain previous login for websites after I restart Opera and access those same websites again. I checked all of my settings, and didn't see an option to make this happen, so assumed that this capability was a default function.

With this you can clear Opera's browsing data manually, but @myrtis' feature request is about an automatic deletion, when closing the browser.

I would also appreciate that function, as I am one of those users who always have to delete the browser cache manually at the end of each session, because this option is missing.

For MacOS it is in the Opera menu. No idea where it is for Windows.
