<p dir="auto">In the url line at the top of the window, on the right, click the reader mode icon. It removes the Adblocker window which blocks your ability to see the webpage, and the webpage appears so you can read it.</p>

The simplest is to use site code to sniff the visiting browser's user agent string and block content displays for browsers known to contain built-in adblocking. Another is to insert JavaScript calls to their ads and block content displays unless a proper ad-server reply is received (to indicate blocking has not occurred)... blocking the JavaScript when visiting such a site may very well result in the site automatically refusing to serve content or to cripple the site's useful functionality. As <a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="https://forums.opera.com/uid/369">@donq</a> noted, it's an ongoing battle as websites struggle to cover operating costs via ad displays and users struggle to not be overwhelmed by ads and to not have their systems attacked by rogue JavaScripted ad-servers. So the battle continues and evolves. "Free" sounds great - until <em>somebody</em> has to cover the costs somehow...</p>
