<![CDATA[Different number of processes on windows task manager and opera task manager]]>Hi, I was wondering as to why on the Windows task manager, it states that Opera has 13 processes(Without crash reporter), but on the Opera task manager, I can only count 10?

After the fresh install I had 2 extra processes, but after I logged in to sync my profile, I had 3. After reinstalling Opera again, upon checking the fresh install, I had 3 extra processes permantely. Hmmm

The ghost processes still stay though.

Windows Defender and Malwarebytes say nothing is on my computer but i'm not sure honestly. A completely fresh install of Opera still has 3 ghost processes.

I don't see why ghost processes should be starting together with Opera.

Did you try rebooting the computer and then start Opera and check the processes?

I can kill the tasks and nothing happens but i'm not sure why they are opening up? I do get a bit paranoid about my PC so i'm scared that it might be an infection or something unauthorized running on Opera. I also got Opera GX just now and the same thing is happening. I don't really understand why?

There are a few on the windows task manager that have an ID that is not listed in the Opera task manager. What can I do with this information?

You can also close Opera, check if all processes were terminated start Opera and see if the number of processes match.
