Try enabling the Opera VPN and switching it.

It should change your location.
Then disable it and check again.

If it is, if I clicked a Swedish ad and then used Google Maps -- I didn't try the Mac app -- it was a map of Sweden. Leaving Opera and using Google's Maps was correct.

I did go into my Microsoft profile and change my language from default to English, but I've not had to do that before and I've been doing this for longer than I care to remember. Also, Safari and Firefox were okay. No VPN. IP okay.

If the website checks for location using an IP index, it will cross-index to the VPN's location, not yours. Try it without the VPN and see if the site identifies your location correctly.
