<![CDATA[Noticeable amount of CPU usage when watching YouTube videos?]]>I know the go to response from people would be "it's the encoding/VP9/etc" but that doesn't explain why on Vivaldi with the exact same addons installed, I don't experience that issue

Does Opera GX use the latest Chromium as base? It might give some performance boost
