<![CDATA[Opera Presto Setup problem on XP]]>Have just downloaded 'Opera_1217_int_Setup.exe'. It's described as '7z Setup SFX from Opera Software ASA'.
When I attempt to run the file, I get the Opera error: 'Non 7-Zip archive'. So how do I get to run this file for my abandoned OS software Win XP SP3 32 bit version?

As for Opera 12, if it doesn't run right, I'm assuming you need an updated Windows Installer version. You might be able to find that online somewhere. But, with SP3 on WinXP, you probably already have it.

With 7-zip though, you can right-click the exe and extract it to a folder. Then you should be able to run it like that. Put the files in "C:\Program Files\Opera" for example.
