We've tested more and reproduced in Chrome also (but after trying the same steps 5 times or so). We think this is Chromium issue and the problem might be fixed in future Chromium version updates.

As requested, I checked and the Gboard keyboard in Chrome is working properly. I could not repeat this error there.

Thanks for sending us the video and sorry about the issue is happening again.
We have confirmed the issue in the latest internal test product also. We'll investigate the issue some more.

If we could ask you more, is it reproducible in Google Chrome?
