@leocg said in Opera is always giving me another ip even though the vpn is turned off:
@chosen5000 A browser can't give you an IP address.
Also, that IP doesn't seem to be from Opera VPN.
Do you get a wrong IP no matter the page you use to check it?
Well, I have noticed this browser is very slow and so I checked my ip etc.. and yes no matter which website I use for checking ip.
BTW, I only have adblock plus addon I even deleted it since there might be a problem and I did reset to default state etc.. but this problem is still happening etc...
BTW, there's np with other browsers (Mozilla, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and brave) so only Opera idk why though that's why I am asking.
I think there's a bug or something that happened in opera update.

@chosen5000 The same happens if you use a private window?
Yes, even if I use private window.

You could download the offline installer for the current Windows version, and install Opera in portable ("stand-alone" USB) mode parallel to your current version.
Does that portable installation with its default settings show this same strange behaviour?

I downloaded Opera_62.0.3331.116_Autoupdate_x64.exe and it's still the same.
