It also does not delete the older version folder which no longer works and must be deleted manually. In some cases<br />
you also have to edit the desktop shortcut to point to the new opera.exe location .... And today, for some reason the<br />
very latest version 116 is not on ftp site to download</p>

<p dir="auto">This is something Chromium does (so you can roll back if you have to). Since Opera is based on Chromium it inherits this behavior. I don't really care for it, but it is what it is.</p>

Once the new one is installed, then if you go to your Add / Remove Programs (or whatever uninstaller you use) you will only see the newest version listed. I simply delete the older folder and then be sure the shortcut is pulling up the newest version.</p>

<p dir="auto">Opera should keep only a couple of old versions, removing the oldest one when there is an update.</p>
