<p dir="auto">What I'm requesting is for your engine-level ad-blocker to override the core functionality and provide (enabled) information about blocked content like a traditional extension would.</p>
<p dir="auto">basically, instead of seeing this:<br />
(I'm aware that this is core functionality, not your ad-blocker)<br />
<img src="/assets/uploads/files/1565710284440-blocked.png" alt="blocked.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" /><br />
when this "extension" is enabled:<br />
<img src="/assets/uploads/files/1565710365640-opera.png" alt="opera.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" /><br />
the displayed blocked information would optionally be overridden to look like something more expected:<br />
<img src="/assets/uploads/files/1565710423478-ublock.png" alt="UBlock.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" /><br />
<img src="/assets/uploads/files/1565710433542-avast.png" alt="Avast.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" /><br />
<img src="/assets/uploads/files/1565710444448-bdtl.png" alt="BDTL.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">this is useful for:</p>
<ul>
<li>development: providing quick and easy information of what content should be removed.</li>
<li>Knowledge: paranoid users (like me) who want to know everything about what content is being blocked for various uses</li>
<li>security: experts who need to know this information to keep their databases up to date</li>
<li>control: if users want the option to allow specific domains regardless of the warning</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">note that this request asks merging the ad blocker with the content blocker if this for some reason isn't done already <img src="https://forums.opera.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/emoji-one/1f609.png?v=gd9hk06g3u4" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-emoji-one emoji--winking_face" title=";)" alt="😉" /></p>
