<![CDATA[ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE]]>Good morning (well at least here in Germany its morning :-))
I am sure that this error message has been posted before but
I cannot find it. The whole error message looks like this :

Diese Seite funktioniert nicht
www.smartredirect.de hat keine Daten gesendet.

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I know that this error is not only an Opera error, i get the same message when i try out another browser. I have tried all of the suggestions that i could find on the internet but none of them have helped.
Anyone got an idea?

If you check the internet you will find a list of possible reasons for this error.

It was my VPN connection. If i turn it off then the problem is solved.
I dont quite understand why this happens though.

In analyzing the URL with several different browsers here, a "Could not locate remote server" error message (or equivalent) appears on each. Either the URL is being blocked by anti-adware software on your system or along the signal path, the URL has no DNS entry, or the smartredirect server is down.
