<![CDATA[[Solved]Messenger chat color gradients do not seem to work (properly)]]>Hey everyone.

I was trying to get the Messenger chat color gradients to work on Opera, but sadly no luck so far.

To clarify, it's about these chat color options:

Even when the color gradient option is selected, the chat color will remain 'solid.' I do believe the color is being picked up from the option you have selected, but the gradient effect will not follow. Thus resulting in the chat to be colored in a solid/static manner.

I have tested this (and encountered the 'issue') in:

  • Messenger pop-up tab while using Facebook
  • Dedicated Messenger / Facebook messages page (facebook.com/messages/t/xxxx)
  • Facebook Messenger 'app' from the Opera Sidebar

Color gradients in the chat will now display correctly!
