Those guys behind Google Translate are idiots; we should be able to delete and choose to apply the translation language we want by default, not have to do it manually every time the tab opens.

What fixed it for me was updating Opera to version 63.0.3368.43; after that, the translator worked without a hitch. Hope that helps if anyone else runs into the same snag

А у разработчика ограниченный спектр инструментов для реализации функционала. К тому же в списке целей нет пункта реализовать все нужды всех пользователей. Поэтому придётся учитывать все имеющиеся рамки действительности. И если вы обратились не по адресу с претензией, то стоит прислушаться к ответу, а не посылать всех по известному адресу, не разобравшись. Взрослейте!
