Interested in why is this not an option yet? Chrome has shift-select and it works just fine,any hope this becomes a feature?

Know any extensions that might help? Saw one that has similar concept but was 'broken' in some cases such as instead of deleting certain entries,it deletes history as a whole (day,two,week,etc).
