I just did a clean re-installation of Windows on my computer, and I'm trying to restore the Quick Access Bar with all my bookmarks from my previous installation of Opera 18. I have a backup of all the files in the old %AppData%, but I can't figure out which ones to copy back over into my new installation.

Is there any way to do this? Any help would be much appreciated!

You can't have the old Opera 12 sidebar anymore, unfortunately.

To get your bookmarks into a quick access bar just under the address bar, go to opera:flags (type it into the address field) and enable the quick access bar. Then go to Menu -> More Tools -> Bookmark Importer. This will retrieve your bookmarks from Opera Link, I believe. Otherwise you might have to point it to your old bookmarks folder or something.

Good afternoon. I have a similar situation: reinstalled Windows, downloaded from the site for the latest version of Opera, 18, included the Opera link, entered under its own name in the account, but the express-Panel changed to what I had before. How do I make and speed dial was mine and a sidebar to the bookmarks (as was the 12 version of Opera)?
