Whenever I close my browser fully it logs me out of everything, which i had ticked "remember me".
You should never do a "Standalone" install into Program Files.

I just created a new user account with administrator rights, and everything, Chrome or Opera works perfectly fine there... any ideas? (;

You have 30 minutes do edit your comments after they have been posted.

Which version of Windows are you using? Here with 8.1 a program can only right on c:/program files if it runs with admin privileges. Don't know about %appdata%.

Interestingly enough, even on sites without https (Twitch.tv in example) I get logged out.
And also it doesn't save passwords. I click on "Save password" and even if i go into the settings after I saved the Password, it didn't get saved.

Also the reason why I'm not using chrome anymore is exactly this problem, which acts the same in Chrome, but in Firefox everything works perfectly fine... I already asked in Google Forums, no one seems to know there exactly.. And yes, I did a virus scan, nothing detected.

And I agree that it's annoying as hell.

That said, this is a new "feature"(!) and not a bug. There are a lot of complaints, but devs insist in keeping it as of now.
Any number of security programs can either convert all cookies to session cookies (the kind that are supposed to go away when you close the browser) or block them entirely. Check the settings in the "internet security" software and/or ad blocker on your system. Or of course any sort of "crap cleaner".

Many people want to block cookies, so it is possible to do it in Opera itself - if you do that then you might want to create an exception for the site(s) you want to remember you.
