I enjoyed the previous behavior: The sidebar is visible only in the Speed Dial tab! When websites are opened, the sidebar is not visible. I couldn't find out how to get this behavior back. (On a side note, since I'm complaining about the update, the history tab also got worse, because the items are taking more space vertically and not enough space horizontally! Also, sometimes I can't delete a single item or I need to click it several times. It's the first time an update has worsened my Opera experience.)

Yeah, and that's an issue on its own because it's basically a downgrade.

I guess some manager who had nothing to do just had to come up with "something" to justify him still being employed.

Why keep fixing things that aren't broken until they are broken? Did Opera fire the entire design team and hire a bunch of complete newbies? Many of the recent design changes completely baffles me,

I will now have to actually learn the keyboard shortcuts for the Downloads, Bookmarks, Settings, Extensions, etc instead of accessing them from the O menu.

I am thinking the same I already use shortcut to access history, don't really need to access downloads (icon in toolbar is enough), no need to access extensions, My Flow, search.. Still, it would be really nice if they just gave us back the possibility to pin/unpin sidebar as before!

Missing the ability to pin and unpin the sidebar and only access it from speed dial. I will also miss the ability to access other pages like Settings and Extensions from speed dial.
