Here’s how to activate inbuilt VPN on Opera:

  • Open the Opera Beta app, then tap the Opera icon in the bottom-right corner.

  • Tap Settings.

  • In the Settings menu, look for the VPN toggle between the “Data savings” option and “Ad blocking.” If it’s not there, the feature hasn’t rolled out to you yet. (One quick note: enabling the VPN will disable the Data savings feature, which cannot be used in tandem with the VPN due to the extra data the VPN requires.)
