Also, why such an old version?

As long as you have the same user account on the same computer, you can copy files from one to the other. Mind you, if you actually make changes on both that is not "synchronize", but it is a starting point.

Opera's built-in Sync feature only syncs speed dial and Stash - not the bookmarks bar.
