<![CDATA[How can I stream videos with Opera?]]>There doesn't seem to be a built-in media player on Opera.
The add-ons tab shows I need to go to Adobe Flash player website and download their player.

  1. Is there a free and open-source video player which can be installed onto Opera?
  2. Is Adobe Flash the ONLY player that can be used?
  3. What is the most secure and anonymous way of streaming with Opera?

What Opera does not include is a number of codecs - look on your distro's software installer for an appropriate version of the Chromium codecs package - and also recently the widevine content decryption module. If you install both of those, Opera should work.
