It is still there for me in the latest version.

In the profile folder which is usually:
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable
delete the file:
tracking_user_agent.json
This trick I found by its contents.

удалите файл:
tracking_user_agent.json

Only uninstalling Opera and reinstalling it again will.
But you can safely ignore it. There's nothing bad about it.
There's no difference to a normal install except for

  1. this string
  2. maybe another default search engine
  3. maybe a preinstalled extension

I am curious as to what this is, and whether or not it will remove itself.

And that's never going to go away unless you manually download and install another version.
You probably downloaded Opera via an ad campaign.
